ISC Demos Oct and Nov 2014

To protect the spiritual life of all Shugden practitioners, the International Shugden Community is organising demonstrations against the Dalai Lama. These demonstrations are the real protection for the spiritual life of Shugden practitioners.

If you would like to support a particular demonstrator or group of demonstrators, you can indicate their name when making your donation. Your donations are much appreciated and will be used solely towards making these demonstrations successful.

PLEASE NOTE: International Shugden Community, Inc. is registering as a legal Non-Profit and the application is currently pending. That means we won’t be able to send out tax-deductible letters until after we are approved (which could take from 1 -16 months, depending on the back log of applications).

 

 

 


ISC COACH DEPARTURES

ISC coaches travel from KMC New York (Glen Spey) to the demonstrations in Princeton (NJ), Boston (MA) and New York City (NY). This section gives more information on the ISC coach departures and accommodation.

 

ISC COACH TRAVELLERS TO PRINCETON, NEW JERSEY
(KMC New York – Princeton, NJ – KMC New York)

The coach for Princeton, NJ departs from KMC New York  (Glen Spey) in the early morning of October 28th.  After the demonstration ends in the evening of October 28th, the Princeton coach will return to KMC New York, where accommodation will be available for the night of October 28th, and for those travelling on to Boston, the night of the 29th October.  More detailed information you will receive after booking for the coach.

 

ISC COACH TRAVELLERS TO BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS
(KMC New York – Boston, MA – KMC New York)

The Boston coach will depart from KMC New York  (Glen Spey) in the early hours of October 30th. In Boston you will be provided with hotel accommodation. The Boston coach returns to KMC New York on November 1st, where accommodation will be made available. More detailed information you will receive after booking for the coach.

Due to limited availability of ISC accommodation, ISC can only offer accommodation in Boston to those travelling by ISC coach.

 

ISC COACH TRAVELLERS TO NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK
(KMC New York – New York City, NY – KMC New York)

The New York City coach will travel daily from KMC New York  (Glen Spey) to New York City on November 2nd, November 3rd and November 4th. During the demonstrations in New York City, accommodation will be provided at or near KMC New York.

On November 2nd and November 3rd the New York City coach offers a round trip, whilst on November 4th the coach travels only one-way from KMC New York to New York City. After the last demo in New York City, please arrange your own transport.

 


FLYING INTO PRINCETON, BOSTON OR NEW YORK 

For those planning to fly to any of the demonstrations, and arrange their own transport from the airports -

  • The closest airport to Princeton, NJ for domestic flights is Trenton-Mercer Airport (TTN) or for (inter-)national flights Newark, NJ (EWR), which is a 1 hr train ride away.

  • The closest airport in Boston, Massachusetts is Boston Logan International Airport (BOS)

  • The closest airports in New York City, NY is John F Kennedy (JFK), La Guardia (LGA), Newark, NJ (EWR)

When travelling to KMC New York (Glen Spey) it is recommended that you fly into Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR). The travel time from Newark airport to KMC New York is circa 2 hours by road or train. More information: http://kadampanewyork.org/visiting/getting-here

 

 

Accommodation for those arranging their own transport

If you are flying or driving to Princeton or New York City, you can book for accommodation at KMC New York (Glen Spey) or at the hotel near KMC New York (depending on availability). The ISC hotel near KMC New York will only be offered to those attending all demo dates in Princeton and/or New York City.
If you would like to join the ISC coaches starting in New York City and travelling to Glen Spey, please contact us by email, specifying the dates you would like to travel on the ISC coach.

Due to limited availability of ISC accommodation in Boston, ISC can only offer accommodation in Boston to those travelling by ISC coach. Therefore please provide for your own accommodation in Boston.

 

Possible ISC coaches from Montreal and New York City:

There may be a coach from Montreal to the NYC demonstrations, and from New York City to the Princeton demonstrations, based on demand.  Please inquire for more details.

 

ISC Transport round trips vs one-ways:

If you book for any of the ISC coaches, you will be offered round trips, apart from the last demo day November 4th, when coaches drive to New York City one-way. Most round trips start and finish at KMC New York (Glen Spey). However, should you wish to only book a one-way journey to or from any of the demo locations, please contact us by email. Depending upon availability of seats ISC may be able to accommodate the request. However please note that your coach journey is not confirmed unless you received a confirmation email.

 

As the ISC coaches will run depending on demand, it would be helpful to book as soon as possible.
